Third Generation Chiropractor

I am excited to join my family’s practice as a third generation chiropractor. My grandfather, Dr. Don Casteel became a chiropractor 60 years ago and my father, Dr. Mark Casteel followed his footsteps 30 years ago. The Casteel family is the largest chiropractic family in central Pennsylvania! I am fortunate enough to have grownup with chiropractic in my life and have seen the wonderful benefits. Now that I have graduated, I can carry on our family tradition of serving the community with chiropractic care.

My Chiropractic Journey

I grew up in Clearfield and graduated in 2007 from Clearfield High School. I always knew I wanted to be a chiropractor and followed my father and grandfather’s footsteps to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Before starting Palmer, I started perusing my Science Bachelors Degree at Slippery Rock University and later completed it at Palmer along with my Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Father Like Son

Same as my father, I was a member of the rugby team while at Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 2010 and 2011 our team reached Division 1 Men Final 4 National Championship. I played wing and full back positions.  I was also a member of the professional chiropractic fraternity, Pi Kappa Chi, being Vice President for one year. While part of the fraternity I was involved in a lot of community service throughout  the Quad Cities area.

Personal Interests and Activities

I am an avid outdoors man and in my spare time I enjoy spending time at camp and going hunting, fishing, hiking and riding 4-wheelers . I also participate in Clearfield’s indoor soccer league. In the winter months I enjoy going snowboarding and riding snowmobiles.
